If you've ever seen Erik the Viking, you'll probably know that line, when Freya asks if it's winter or summer during the age of Ragnarok. Mind you, in Midgar at this time the world is blanketed in snow every day of the year.

"Have you ever see the sun?"
"No, it is up beyond the clouds, where it always is."
"But have you ever SEEN it?"
"No?"
"Think back."
".. I remember once as a child... a dream.... as if the whole sky were.... blue?"
"It *was* blue... once."

Anyways, what this is all getting to is that here it is, mid-march, and only just recently has the weather stopped dumping day after day after day of snow on us, and indeed, Thursday last week was the first day seeing blue sky in ages.

Getting really tired of abnormally long winters here. Nothing much to say today, just... grumbling out loud.

I wish I had connections, I have a commission for a gryphy I wanna make but I'm too shy to ask people I don't know. I'm doomed.
